Firefox 3 System Requirements

Before you download Firefox 3 you must make sure you at least meet the minimum hardware and operating system requirements. A very import thing to note is that Firefox will no longer work with Windows 98 or ME. Actually if you still are working with those operating systems you really need to upgrade or get a new computer.

Minimum PC Hardware Requirements
• Pentium 233 MHz (Recommended: Pentium 500MHz or greater)
• 64 MB RAM (Recommended: 128 MB RAM or greater)
• 52 MB hard drive space

Windows Operating Systems
• Windows 2000
• Windows XP
• Windows Server 2003
• Windows Vista
Linux
• NetworkManager 0.7 or higher
• DBus 1.0 or higher
• HAL 0.5.8 or higher
• GNOME 2.16 or higher


Minimum Mac Hardware Requirements
• Macintosh computer with an Intel x86 or PowerPC G3, G4, or G5 processor
• 128 MB RAM (Recommended: 256 MB RAM or greater)
• 200 MB hard drive space

Minimum Mac Operating System
• Mac OS X 10.4 and later
